What is Glytactin™?
Glytactin is an advanced formulation of glycomacropeptide (GMP), a low-Phe whole protein source, and essential amino acids. Cambrooke Foods is the only producer of PKU medical foods to offer products containing Glytactin.
What is glycomacropeptide (GMP)?
Glycomacropeptide (GMP) is a naturally occurring whole protein that is one of several proteins that make up whey. It is isolated during the cheese-making process and is an ideal protein source for patients with PKU.

What is RESTORE?
Camino pro RESTORE™ with Glytactin™ is a metabolic formula for PKU patients in the form of a great tasting hydration beverage ("sports drink").
What is the nutritional value for each serving of RESTORE?
Each serving of RESTORE contains 173 calories, 10 grams of Glytactin protein, carbohydrates and a blend of electrolytes, calcium, B vitamins and essential amino acids.
Is RESTORE intended only for patients who are physically active?
No. RESTORE can be enjoyed by anyone with a confirmed diagnosis of PKU.
Can RESTORE be used to substitute other sports drinks?
Yes. RESTORE is a great substitute for other sports drinks as it provides electrolytes and other key nutrients PKU patients typically get from their metabolic formula. Most importantly, RESTORE contains 10 grams of protein (Glytactin™) suitable for PKU patients, which is not available from a typical sports drink.
How long will an open bottle of RESTORE stay fresh?
Once open, RESTORE should be consumed within two hours if it is not refrigerated and within one to two days if it is refrigerated.
Is there any preparation needed for RESTORE?
The only preparation required is to shake, twist the cap and enjoy.
What flavors is RESTORE available in?
Currently, RESTORE is available in lemon-lime. Additional flavors will be coming soon.
Can RESTORE fully replace regular formula intake?
RESTORE is designed to provide an easily absorbed protein source for PKU patients. While RESTORE contains a good number of water soluble vitamins, it does not contain the fat soluble vitamins: A, D, E, and K. You will need to get these from your diet or a vitamin supplement. It can be used in conjunction with the patient's current metabolic formula or BetterMilk. Patients should talk to their physician/dietician to determine the appropriate combination of RESTORE, other metabolic formula, and foods that should be taken daily for complete nutrition.

What is BetterMilk?
Camino pro BetterMilk is a great tasting, complete medical formula for the use in the dietary management of PKU.
What is the nutritional value for each serving of BetterMilk?
Each serving of BetterMilk contains 140 calories, 15 grams of Glytactin protein, 32 mg of DHA Omega-3 fatty acids and has been fortified with vitamins, probiotics and minerals.
Can BetterMilk fully replace regular formula intake?
Yes. BetterMilk is a formula designed to provide an easily absorbed protein source for PKU patients and has been fortified with essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
What is the shelf life of BetterMilk?
Once prepared, BetterMilk should be consumed entirely. However, prepared BetterMilk can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
How is BetterMilk prepared?
To prepare, mix one packet of BetterMilk with four ounces of cold water or more/less to taste. BetterMilk can also be incorporated into a recipe. For recipe ideas click here.

Does Cambrooke Foods accept Medicaid or State health insurance?
Cambrooke Foods does not accept Medicaid payments directly. However, Cambrooke Foods will assist with locating a pharmacy or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider that participates in a patient's State Medicaid program.
