About the author:

Hunter Rametta is a licensed, registered dietitian working in the Boston area. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at University of Connecticut then headed right to Boston after graduating in 2008. Here she earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Boston University and completed her dietetic internship at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in early 2010. She works clinically at a community hospital where she sees all sorts of patients in both the in- and outpatient setting. She also has PKU! On top of her clinical work, she works hard to stay involved in the PKU community by doing consulting work promoting health and well being on a low phenylalanine diet and staying involved in local and national organizations. Having gone through her own ups and downs with the diet, her passion is finding delicious food, new ways to keep life exciting and supporting and motivating others with PKU or other metabolic disorders to stay on track.
