Insurance Specialist

Requirements:
- Three plus years medical billing experience.
- Steady employment history.
- Proficient in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- DME and A/R experience preferred.
- Experience calling and assisting patients and caregivers preferred.
- Ability to learn product information that will help educate and inform patients and caregivers on their product decisions.
- Knowledge of SalesForce a plus.
- Solution-oriented personality.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- To acquire a full understanding of Cambrooke’s billing and sales software and learn how to efficiently navigate in the system.
- Call insurance companies to see how to resolve or inquire about the status of an insurance enquiry or claim to ensure the fastest possible product availability for our customers, and payment.
- Act as a patient-focused liaison to help customers have "frictionless" access to our products.
- Find solutions to ensure continual insurance and product coverage to patients that switch providers.
- Work through complex options and barriers to ensure success for the patient, provider and Cambrooke.
- Responsible for working from reports to inquire and resolve payment issues for aged claims.
- The ability to learn what each denial code represents and be able to determine the next course of action.
